Traveling to London with celiac disease or someone who is? You’re in the right place! As a celiac who’s visited London 6 times (and counting), I can easily confirm that London has lots of gluten free and celiac-safe restaurants and bakeries to enjoy. Not only are there many options, but they’re all delicious!
One thing I love about London is that being such an immense and international city, there are so many different cuisines to enjoy. In this blog post you will find all sorts of options, from English cuisine to Vietnamese, Thai, and beyond.
The majority of these restaurants are places that I’ve eaten at and enjoyed, with some places – that I’ll point out — I haven’t been to them yet, but they’re on my “gluten free London bucketlist”.

Finding Khanom Krok was such a pleasant surprise!
Some people say they are 100% gluten free, but I don’t believe that is the case (I’ll confirm in November). They cook things separately to avoid cross contamination and have several, naturally gluten-free options.

Patty & Bun is an incredible burger restaurant found all over London, and is one of my go-tos.
My order is always a gluten free Ari Gold cheeseburger and their rosemary chips, which are both to die for.🤤
This restaurant is not gluten free, but they do offer gluten free bread for burgers. Their fries are also fried in different oil, making them safe from contamination.
Note: Because this restaurant is a chain, I highly encourage you to always double check at the location you visit whether the fries and bread are all cooked separately – just to be extra safe.
