Are you celiac, or gluten intolerant, and traveling to Edinburgh, Scotland? Then you’re in the right place! As a fellow celiac, here is all you need to know about Gluten Free Edinburgh.😍👇
It was really exciting to discover that Edinburgh is a celiac friendly city, full of gluten free food and restaurants. As the Coeliac population continues to grow, Scotland in general is a gluten free friendly country!
Traveling with celiac disease is not easy, and I couldn’t be more excited to be sharing these AMAZING gluten free restaurants with you! I didn’t waste any time in stuffing myself with the delicious food in Edinburgh, and was truly living my best celiac life.😂😍 I cannot wait for you to be able to do the same!❤️
Important Note: While these restaurants are gluten free friendly, you ALWAYS need to state your celiac disease or gluten intolerance. These restaurants have the correct practices to be celiac safe, but are not necessarily 100% gluten free.
Second Important Note: In Edinburgh, businesses tend to close early (5 PM) or are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I included the operating days/hours to help you make a mental note of when to visit the restaurants that appeal the most to you. For example, if you want Haggis, you need to have it for lunch or incredibly early dinner (before 5 PM).
