La Crocetta (Gluten Free Friendly)

  • ⭐️ Rating: 4.4 on Google
  • 📍 Location: Via Marco Polo, 21, 10129 Torino TO, Italy
  • 💰 Price Range: $$$
A plate of beef carpaccio topped with shaved Parmesan and chopped greens sits on a decorative green and gold plate atop a white tablecloth—a delicious find for anyone seeking Gluten free Torino dining. Another partial plate of food is visible nearby.
Albese

La Crocetta is a restaurant that specializes in traditional Turin and Piedmontese dishes. It is not a dedicated-gluten free restaurant, but the people here are very knowledgeable and aware about celiac disease and how to prepare safe dishes.

Ona personal note, is the restaurant of my life – quite literally. I’ve been eating at this restaurant since I was a kid, and after moving away, this restaurant became the going-out spot for nice family meals.

As a celiac since 2017, I’ve always felt safe and great eating here, and it continues to be all time favorite restaurant — one where I fill myself with my favorite, traditional dishes.

If you come to La Crocetta and eat meat, you must try their Albese. Albese is thinly-sliced raw meat topped with lemon juice, olive oil, Parmesan scales and, depending on the season, either artichokes or celery.

If you don’t have a gluten allergy, some must-try foods are: Agnolotti del Plin, Tarte Tatin, Bonet.

Pan Per Focaccia (Celiac Safe – AIC)

  • ⭐️ Rating: 4.7 on Find Me Gluten Free
  • 📍 Location: Via Conte Verde 7/a, 10122 Torino TO, Italy
  • 💰 Price Range: $$
A wood-fired pizza on a green plate topped with tomato sauce, creamy cheese, sausage, green pesto, and charred edges—perfect for those seeking gluten free restaurants in Torino—served next to a glass of water and a drink.
A rectangular black plate with three different custard desserts, each topped with unique garnishes like whipped cream, banana slices, chocolate shavings, and cherries—an elegant gluten free Torino treat dusted with powdered sugar.

Located a short walk from the Royal Palace of Torino, Pan Per Focaccia is a celiac-safe restaurant that can make any item on the menu gluten free.

This restaurant is famous for its gluten free pizza, as well as their traditional dishes from Torino and the Piemonte region.

I strongly recommend trying their Sbracciatella Pizza and the Panata Torinese. The Sbracciatella pizza has two stellar toppings, stracciatella (cheese) and a local delicacy, Salsiccia di Bra – a must try when in Turin or Piedmont.

The Panata Torinese, on the other hand, is a slice of fried veal with melted Valsusino cheese on top.

Mannarino (Celiac Safe)

  • ⭐️ Rating: 4.7 on Google
  • 📍 Location: Via IV Marzo, 12, 10122 Torino TO, Italy
  • 💰 Price Range: $$
A butcher shop display case filled with various cuts of raw red meat, including skewers labeled "Arrosticini di Ovino," sausages, and steaks, each item labeled with prices and descriptions in Italian—perfect for those seeking gluten free Torino options.
Sliced rare steak arranged on a green plate, sprinkled with coarse salt, and topped with a small flag labeled "MANNARINO TAGLIATA." Perfect for those seeking Gluten free Torino options. A patterned napkin is in the background.

Mannarino is a delicious and “interactive” steak restaurant in the Quadrilatero Romano area – right next to Pan Per Focaccia.

Being a steak restaurant, most of the food here is naturally gluten free and the restaurant is highly aware about celiac disease and best practices to prepare safe dishes.

Something really unique about this restaurant is that when you first enter, you will find a “butcher shop”, where you are attended by a butcher. The butcher will tell you all about the meats in front of you and help you pick what to eat. Not only are you picking the meat you want to eat, but you’re ordering everything there – including any drinks and sides.

Recently opened, Reborneat Streetfood Lab is a 100% gluten free street food “restaurant” born from Reborneat Pasticceria.

This is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a delicious, but quick, lunch or are simply in the mood for Italian street food or burgers.

Reborneat, both the bakery and street food, quickly became one of my absolute favorite gluten free restaurants of all time. Here, the food is so incredible you forget you’re a celiac eating gluten free food.

This location is right in the city center and easy to access. Here you will find everything from Schiacciata (a must try), to burgers, Arancini, Supplí, Bombolone, and beyond.

Poormanger, “Poor Eats”, is a restaurant where perfectly-baked potatoes meet Italian flavors, creativity, and ingredients. While this isn’t a gluten free restaurant, most options on the menu are gluten free and safe for celiacs.

As always, make sure to mention your celiac disease or gluten intolerance.

Locanda del Pentagallo (100% Gluten Free)

  • ⭐️ Rating: 5 on Find Me Gluten Free
  • 📍 Location: Via Alessandro Volta, 3, 10121 Torino TO, Italy
  • 💰 Price Range: $$

Located right in the city center, Locanda del Pentegallo is a 100% gluten free pizzeria.

I have yet to visit but I’ve heard incredible things from close friends who live in Turin, and the ratings are nothing short of stellar.

This restaurant is only open from 7:30 PM to 10 PM, making this only a dinner option. Based on these short hours, I would recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure you get a spot!

When’s the last time you got to visit a Deli and order food? If you’ve had my “luck”, it’s likely been years.🥲

Turin Langa is a 100% gluten free Deli where you can get all sorts of freshly-prepared meals – including Agnolotti, Tajarin, meatballs, lasagna, and beyond. While I haven’t been yet, based on high ratings, it seems like the perfect place to grab take-away for your stay.

Reborneat Pasticceria (100% Gluten Free)

A hand holds a bread roll split in half, revealing a smooth yellow custard filling inside. The background hints at more food wrappers, evoking the delicious variety found at gluten free restaurants in Torino.

Did I seriously walk 40-minutes to eat here and then splurge on both pastries, pizza, and focaccia? You bet I did!🙂‍↕️

Reborneat is just a few years old and it quickly became one of the best, if not THE best, gluten free bakery I have ever eaten at. I finally got to eat a Bombolone, the italian-cream-filled donut, and I genuinely almost teared up from happiness.🥹

In this bakery you will find everything from pastries to croissants, to focaccias, pizzas, breads, and street food – including Arancini and Suppli. It’s quite far from the center, but 1000% worth the commute. Plus, you can stock up on baked goodies and bring them with you as you continue your travels around Italy.

Freedom Lounge Bakery is a newer, 100% gluten free bakery located in the city center – a few steps from Piazza San Carlo.

With it’s high-ratings and inviting pictures, this bakery is high on my gluten free “bucket list” and I’m sure you will love it!

Chicchisani (100% Gluten Free)

  • 💰 Price Range: $

Chicchisani, “Healthy Seeds”, is a 100% gluten free, Piedmontese bakery located right in the city center.

Ranging from pastries and desserts to savory baked goods, Chicchisani creates fresh, artisan products a daily basis. Not only do they prepare their food with celiacs in mind, but also have products that cater to some other allergies, including dairy.

Costadoro Coffee Lab Diamond (Gluten Free Friendly)

  • 📍 Location: 4 on Google
  • 💰 Price Range: $
A smiling woman in a knit hat holds a cup of coffee and a croissant on a plate in a cozy café, known for being one of the best gluten free restaurants in Torino, with orange juice on the table and other patrons in the background.

Sitting just a few steps from Piazza San Carlo, Costadoro Coffee Lab Diamond is a cozy cafe where locals go for a good coffee, good company, or even a study session.

This is not a gluten free cafe, but it has been my trustee-breakfast option for the past years. Here they have incredible coffee and tend to have a few gluten free options. I always go for their apricot-jam-filled croissants!🥐

Grom (100% Gluten Free)

  • ⭐️ Rating: 5 on Find Me Gluten Free
  • 📍 Location: Several locations
  • 💰 Price Range: $$
A smiling woman with curly hair, wearing a red coat and beige scarf, sits at an outdoor café in Gluten free Torino, enjoying a cup of ice cream with a spoon. Tables and people are visible in the background.

The gelato shop that needs little-to-no introduction! Born in Turin in 2003, Grom is a 100% gluten free gelato shop where you can enjoy everything from gelato, to different types of cones, gluten free crêpes, hot chocolate, and beyond!

If you’re visiting Turin in the fall or winter time, you must try their Gianduja hot chocolate – which I strongly recommend ordering with whipped cream and hazelnuts on top.😍

Note. It’s happened to me in Rome where a Grom was offering croissants – this is not something they offer gluten free. While everything should always be gluten free here, if you see certain pastries double check first!
